Enlighteningg article on American slavery and full of facts that very few people, especially northerners, new much about or even cared to know. And certainly not us emigrates who came in the years following the end of WWII .The only slavery we had seen of America was from the famous film “Gone With The Wind” which may only have been a hint of slavery to fit the story. Slavery is definitely a black stain in the American history. Thank you for the article, I enjoyed reading it.
